We understand that for some flowers, it may be necessary for them to arrive in a bud form in order to stay at their freshest. This will also help your flowers last longer and give you the chance to witness their beauty as they bloom.

We take pride in making sure that each bouquet delivered looks just like the one you ordered. So, you can be sure that your flowers will look beautiful and last a long time.

Your bouquet arrives with water around the stems, so the flowers stay fresh on the way to you. Once it arrives, a few simple steps help your flowers last longer.

• Keep it upright. The stems sit in a sealed water pouch. Hold the bouquet upright so the water does not spill.
• Move it to a vase the same day. The water pouch is for delivery, not display. In UAE heat, that water warms up fast and bacteria grows quickly, so place your bouquet in a vase as soon as you can.
• Open the pouch over a sink. Snip the bottom of the water pouch and let it drain. Then remove the plastic. You can keep the tie in place, as it holds the shape of the bouquet.
• Prepare a clean vase. Wash the vase with soap and rinse it well. Fill it about two-thirds with fresh, room-temperature water. If a flower food sachet is included, mix it in.
• Trim the stems. Cut 2 to 3 cm off each stem at an angle, using sharp scissors or a knife. An angled cut helps the stems drink more water.
• Remove low leaves. Pull off any leaves that would sit below the water line. Leaves in the water rot and cloud it.
• Change the water every 2 days. Empty the vase, rinse it and refill with fresh water. At the same time, trim another 1 to 2 cm off the stems.
• Pick a cool spot. Keep your flowers away from direct sun, AC drafts, heat and fruit bowls. Ripening fruit releases a gas that makes flowers wilt faster.

Good to know: Remove any fading flowers as they appear. As a result, the rest of the bouquet stays fresh for longer.
